Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 3 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within three business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@artificialsilktrees.com.

Should you require expedited shipping please contact us before you make your order at sales@artificialsilktrees.com for availability and a quote. 

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) immediately when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to returns@artificialsilktrees.com within 2 days of receiving and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Refunds:

If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Returns must be made within 10 days upon receiving your item and be returned in original condition with tags. No refunds will be made on the original shipping costs.

Please don't throw away boxes or packaging until you are completely satisfied with your order as all returns must be in their original packaging.

Returns

Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase has arrived, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You as the customer will only be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to damage or mis-ship in which case Artificial Silk Tree Co will cover the cost for you. You are entitled to a full refund in both instances. We will never charge handling or restocking fees to our customers.

For larger orders please contact us at returns@artificialsilktrees.com to arrange return shipping, in some instances we may be able to help keep the costs down.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Custom built or modified products and rush orders cannot be returned. Items ordered for events such as trade shows or parties can not be returned after the date of the event.

Christmas items must be returned before Christmas day, no returns will be accepted on Christmas items from December 26th onwards.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Damage.

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered. If you notice any damage please report this within 4 days and email us a picture so we can file a damage claim. Do not throw away the original box and packaging materials until you are satisfied with the order. You have 4 days from the receipt of your order to notify us if your item is damaged.

For freight shipments, damage must be checked for on delivery and before the driver leaves. If the package looks slightly damaged please write 'slightly damaged'. If there is significant damage you may refuse the delivery. Please notify us immediately via returns@artificialsilktrees.com so we can expect the return.

If the claim is made within the time frame our standard returns policy applies and so we can issue an exchange or a full refund for the item cost.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow 7-10 days to process the refund.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Sale items will only be refunded for their sale price/ the price the customer paid for them.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at returns@artificialsilktrees.com to let us know.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
